A Taste Adventure at Cafe' Vigour

There is a common generalisation in Durban that Indian folk love Suncoast Casino.

And while there are a large number of Indian people that frequent the spot, we are not one of them.

On one of our rare visits to Suncoast, my husband Ashley and I tried Cafe' Vigour for the first time.

We've often pass Cafe' Vigour because it looks quite 'pretentious' and we thought the prices might not fit our budget, but we were quite wrong as once we perused the Menu we realised that quality food and stunning décor doesn't have to cost an arm and a leg.

I had a chicken and mushroom pasta which was packed full of chicken and mushroom, with a sauce to die-for.

Ashley had a Sirloin steak on a bed of potato and butternut mash, served with a side of mushroom sauce.

He is often fussy about his steak so it was amazing that he enjoyed this one.

For dessert we had Creme' Brulee which was a first for us, as well as a Tiramisu. We're not dessert people but it was enjoyable.

We were there thankful we choose Cafe' Vigour as just as we had finished our meal, Load Shedding kicked in.

Our waiter was a pleasant young man who was around enough to make sure we were happy, without being a stalker.

He also pointed out that they are one of very few restaurants at Suncoast that have generators and that they will be getting busy soon.

To which I replied "Well get ready my friend, as you're about to make some nice tips!" I'd give Cafe' Vigour a 10/10 for Food, Service and Ambiance.

If you would like to get in touch with Cafe' Vigour, you can call 031 328 3277.

Happy Munching!
